Terms & Policies

The details, plainly written.

Ordering, delivery, your rights and how we handle your data. Use the index to jump straight to what you're looking for.

1.Who we are

MARÉ Stockholm is operated by [Full name / business name], [personal or organisation number], [registered address, Stockholm, Sweden]. Reach us at [email address].

2.Our products

Each MARÉ set is a handcrafted, reusable soft gel press-on nail set, made to the individual measurements you provide at the time of order. Sets are produced to order in our Stockholm atelier.

Price: 495 SEK per set. Prices shown in SEK, including Swedish VAT where applicable [confirm once VAT registration is finalised]. Prices may change for future orders; the price at the time you order is the price you pay.

3.Placing an order

Orders are placed on our website. At checkout, you'll provide nail measurements and your preferred shape and shade, following our measuring guide. Measure carefully, sets are cut to the exact dimensions you provide.

Production is limited to 10 to 20 sets per month, so please allow [X] business days for your set to be handcrafted before it ships.

4.Payment

Payment is taken at the time of order through the methods available at checkout. All transactions are processed securely; we do not store your card details.

5.Delivery

Sets ship within Sweden via [PostNord Home Small / Skicka Lätt]. Estimated delivery: [X] business days after your set leaves the atelier. Shipping costs shown at checkout. Risk passes to you once the parcel is delivered to the address you provided.

6.Right of withdrawal (ångerrätt)

Under Swedish law (lagen om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler), consumers ordinarily have a 14 day right of withdrawal on distance purchases.

MARÉ sets are excluded from this right, because each set is made to your individual measurements and given a clear personal character (2 kap. 11 § 3 p. distansavtalslagen). We can't accept returns or offer refunds simply because a set no longer suits you once production has begun.

This does not affect your statutory rights if a set arrives damaged, defective, or not as described, see section 7.

7.Faults and complaints (reklamation)

Your right to complain about a faulty or defective set is not affected by the exclusion above. Under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act (konsumentköplagen), you may report a fault within a reasonable time after discovering it, and in any case within three years of delivery.

If your set arrives damaged or with a manufacturing fault, please contact us at [email address] with photos and your order number within [X] days of delivery, and we will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate.

Please note: normal wear, filing, or damage from improper removal or application is not covered as a fault. See The Method for how to remove and store your set so it can be worn again.

8.Care, reuse, and durability

MARÉ sets are designed to be worn, removed cleanly, and reused. With the care described in our care guide, a set can be worn multiple times over an extended period. We do not use liquid glue; sets are applied with water-resistant jelly glue tabs designed for gentle, damage-free removal.

9.Materials

Full details of the products and materials used in your set are listed on our Materials & Ingredients page, including relevant ingredient information for the gel polish and adhesive used.

10.Your personal data

We collect the personal data needed to process your order, including your name, contact details, delivery address, and nail measurements. We handle this data in accordance with the GDPR, as described in our Privacy Policy.

11.Complaints and disputes

If we can't resolve a complaint directly, you may bring it to Allmänna Reklamationsnämnden (ARN), www.arn.se, or use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

12.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of your order applies to that order.

13.Governing law

These terms are governed by Swedish law.
